Motorcyclist killed in crash

Kota Kinabalu: A 54-year-old man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with an Isuzu Trooper at a roundabout along Jalan Sulaman, near Kingfisher Park, here, Saturday.

Ikram Abd Rahim, from Kg Likas, died on the spot in the 5.15pm mishap.

It was learnt that he was heading from 1Borneo Hypermall to Kota Kinabalu, while the Isuzu Trooper driven by a 27-year-old man was coming out from the Kingfisher Park junction and heading to Sepanggar.

The body of the deceased had been sent to the hospital for post mortem.

Inspector Jenuil and Sergeant Rozami were at the scene to investigate.

In another mishap, a 33-year-old motorcyclist delivering pizza sustained minor injuries when he collided with a Perodua Viva along Jalan Tuaran, near Sunny Garden, Saturday. The motorcyclist was said to be heading from Likas to Damai when he collided with the Viva, coming from Lintas and heading to the Likas direction, at 1.15pm.

Sergeant Rozami was at the scene.
