Lahad Datu: District police believe they have solved 10 cases of motorcycle thefts here with the arrest of two members of a motorcycle theft gang.District police chief, ACP Shamsudin Mat told a press conference Monday that following intelligence and information, the Crime Investigation Department launched "Ops Lejang" and managed to detained the suspects, a local and a foreigner."During the operation, we also detained two locals, and two foreigners who are believed involved in buying stolen motorcycles and seized six motorcycles.

The case was investigated under Section 379A of the Penal Code and Section 411 of the Penal Code.Police are still tracing another four members of the gang and said that such operation will be conducted in the future to curb the motorcycle theft syndicate in this district.
