Woman remanded over Facebook

Tawau: A 38-year-old woman who allegedly insulted the Muslim community on her Facebook page was remanded for 24 hours on Monday.District Police Chief ACP Awang Besar Dullah said the insurance agent was picked up by a police team headed by ASP Jafri Othman at her house in Jalan Bunga Raya at about 11.30am.He said team also confiscated a white P-Link wifi router, its charger and an Apple iPhone 5 with its SIM card to assist in their investigations for the case, which was opened under Section 4 (1) © of the Sedition Act.
