The victims in their 20s had reprimanded their cousins who are also their neighbour, not to play the firecrackers and fireworks in front of their house (victims' house) as the loud noise scared their baby and disturbed their families resting time.
However, the three brothers were dissatisfied and used motorcycle chains to attack their cousins in the 10.15pm incident.
The three victims sustained physical injuries on their heads, back and hands.
One of the attackers used a parang but the victims' father managed to stop more bloodshed and his three injured sons were sent to the hospital here.
District Police Chief ACP Rowell Marong, who confirmed the incident, said the three suspects were arrested on the same day and seized the motorcycle chains and a parang used in the incident.
