KDM FC Labuan to meet Papar in friendly Aug 31

Kota Kinabalu: KDM FC Labuan will be heading to Papar on Aug 31 to have a friendly match with the KDM Papar team, which will kick off at the Papar town field.According to KDM FC Labuan manager, Christopher Paul Darison, the friendly match against KDM Papar will be an important preparation match to iron out any creases before the start of the Lafa Super League, expected to begin in September."This is to ensure that our players are fully ready to face the Lafa Super League mentally and physically.

"We see this friendly match with KDM Papar as a very important match because we do not have much time left to prepare for the Super League," he said when contacted Wednesday.KDM FC Labuan is promising a very tight and interesting match, similar to the quality of play displayed by the players when they drew 0-0 with team X-Sabah, manned by former State players in Labuan recently.Among the KDM FC Labuan players who will be playing against Papar are Hermanus Ayong, Rashton Rashid, Rajid Gapar, Francis Larim, Brandon Christopher, Roberter Patrick, Alan Worine, Lery Yalil, Micah Davis, Emek Lantakang, Wilfred Sevelian, Benedict Mait and Jeluius Ating."I would also like to invite football fans residing in and around Papar to come down and witness the match which will kick off at 2.30pm and support our local players," Darison added.
