Ampong pledges support for CM

Sandakan: Umno Sandakan chief Tan Sri Ampong Puyon has pledged the division's full support to Datuk Seri Musa Aman to continue leading the State as Chief Minister.Ampong also called on members here to stand united and continue to be loyal to their leaders as well as the party's struggle."I will support with full loyalty the leadership of Musa because he is our state leader and we support Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak because he is the leader of our country.

"We must be united. There should not be any ill feeling and we must not be influenced by instigations including those by the opposition. Do not be disappointed just because we failed to get a position lest it will only create chaos in the party," he said.Speaking at the Sandakan Umno annual delegates' conference, Saturday, Ampong said Sabah would continue to prosper better because it has a hardworking Chief Minister with unwavering commitment to develop Sabah."After more than 10 years leading the state, Musa has successfully brought Sabah's economy to a higher level and brought about more development to the urban and rural areas in the State for the prosperity of the rakyat," he said.

"If there are problems we can sit down and talk to resolve it amicably in line with Umno's motto that is United, Loyal and To Serve, which has been our guiding light all this while," he said.
