SESB Merdeka Convoy back after week-long tour

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) Merdeka Kembara Convoy Tour returned to its headquarters on Tuesday, after a week-long tour around Sabah. Some 70 SESB personnel, vendors and members of the media participated in the convoy, visiting 13 districts along the way to spread the spirit of Malaysia Day.Among the districts which were visited were Tuaran, Kota Marudu, Kudat, Pitas, Sandakan, Lahad Datu, Tawau, Keningau, Tenom, Sipitang, Papar and Labuan. As part of their programme, the convoy also visited seven charity homes and schools in Tuaran, Kota Marudu, Sandakan, Sipitang, Papar and Tawau.They also donated foodstuff and other daily goods to the charity homes as part of SESB's CSR programme to give back to the community especially the less fortunate.
