Three Filipinos held off Semporna

SEMPORNA: Marine police detained three Filipinos, aged between 24 and 52, who tried to sneak in via the waters off here without any identification documents at about 8.16pm on Saturday.Sabah Region 4 Marine Police Commander ACP Mohammad Madun said the three who were on board a pump boat were apprehended by a team on patrol duty, led by Sergeant Donatus, at the Bulipatulid Shoal area.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

"The pump boat, engines and shaft and propeller worth about RM2,100 were also seized," he said.

The case is being investigated under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 for entering the country illegally.
