Rais calls for more culture competitions

Malay archipelago, but we need energy to promote it so that the young generation is interested."This will give a leap to the Malay archipelago culture, which is further enhancing ties through arts among countries in the Malay archipelago, like Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and South Thailand," he said after attending the friendly match of 'Empayar Akar Kita Zapin Nusantara 2014' here .Earlier, Rais presented prizes to the winner of the competition, Kumpulan Sanggar Budaya Malaysia.Four countries took part in the competition, namely Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia. It is organised by Persatuan Tatihseni Malaysia.
