Police receive 18 reports on RM4mil gold bullions fraud

GEORGE TOWN: Eighteen police reports were received concering fraud involving gold bullions worth RM4 million in Penang, said state police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi."The investigation paper on the case is 70 per cent ready and, to date, we have taken the statements of 12 individuals," he told reporters here Monday.Hde said no arrests had been made to date and police were identifying several more victims to have their statements recorded. "We have never closed the case but are still continuing investigations.
