Risda Plantation receives 'The Bizz 2014' award

KUALA LUMPUR: Risda Plantation Sdn Bhd has been selected to receive the most prestigious business award, 'The Bizz 2014' by World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB) Sunday night..Risda Plantation's achievement was more meaningful as its chairman Tan Sri Dr Rahim Tamby Chik also received two awards – 'Excellence in Business Leadership' and 'World Leader Business Person' – from WORLDCOB.Rahim said the receipt of the awards was a historic event and a recognition to all employees of Risda Plantation who worked hard to assist smallholders and subsequently placed the company in the global arena. Recognition was also given to Risda Director-General Datuk Seri Wan Mohamad Zuki Mohamad and Risda Plantation Chief Executive Officer Omar Paimin, both of whom received the 'Excellence in Business Leadership' award.
