Sabah Umno leader held over CBT of RM300m

KOTA KINABALU: A Sabah Umno leader has been detained by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) in connection with Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT) involving RM300 million, it was learnt.It was also learned that the leader was detained by MACC officers at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport last Thursday.The leader was a former State agency Chairman and heads one of the 25 Umno divisions in Sabah.ADVERTISEMENT Meanwhile, Private companies should tighten procedures to prevent corrupt practices among their employees.
