Teenager claims trial to murder of his colleague

KOTA KINABALU: An 18-year-old Dusun restaurant worker claimed trial in the High Court to the murder of his 19-year-old colleague.The teenager is accused of murdering one Emon Gederoh at 4.36am on May 2, 2013 in a house at Lorong Sembulan 13, Kg Sembulan here. He was 17 when the alleged offence was committed.He faces the death sentence if convicted under Section 302 of the Penal Code.ADVERTISEMENT Judge Stephen Chung set Dec 11 for case management and ordered the teenager to be remanded further.Deputy Public Prosecutor Ahmad Nazneen Zulkifli said the prosecution has 10 witnesses for the case.The teenager is represented by counsel Ram Singh, Yusri Pungut and Rizwandean Borhan.In the Magistrate's Court, a 29-year-old Ilokano woman was sentenced to three months' jail for soliciting for prostitution.ADVERTISEMENT Jobless Aerallinda @ Emily Pascua admitted before High Court Senior Assistant Registrar Dzul Esmy Yunus, who sat as a Magistrate to committing the offence at 11.20pm on Aug 20 in a hotel room at Kg Air.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Inspector Syahrin Ali, prosecuting, told the court that police raided the room after seeing Aerallinda entering the hotel with a man. The man confessed that he paid RM70 to Aerallinda for sex.

Aerallinda requested for leniency saying that she is a single mother with three children, who were now under the care of her mother.
