Young should be idealistic and liberal in thinking, says GM

RANAU: Institut Kajian Sejarah dan Patriotisme Malaysia (IKSEP), General Manager Datuk Dr Aziz Ujang said the younger generation must possess a liberal and idealistic mindset to be prepared to steer the country to be on par with developed nations in the world. "Young people today must also be smart enough to counter negative influences that exist at the fingertips of today's generation."In this era of technology, all information is available at one's fingertips. This leaves our young generation to be opened to all kinds of threats that are damaging to their minds and spirit.

"Towards that end, the young generation must be nurtured to identify what is good and what is bad but disguised as good.
