Myvi-express bus collision claim lives of four in family

KUALA LIPIS: A family of four perished after the Perodua Myvi they were travelling in, collided with a double decker bus at Kilometre 81, Lipis-Merapoh Road near Kampung Kubang Rusa here early Friday.The driver of the car, Ahmad Nor Sallahuddin Ahmad Zamberi, 28, from Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan, who was previously a Royal Malay Regiment soldier based at Majidee Camp in Johor Baharu, Johor, died on the spot.His wife Azian Ismail, 32, and their children, Ahmad Abinubli Ahmad, 3, and Airis Auta who would have turned one on Dec 13, passed away while being treated at Gua Musang Hospital, Kelantan. Abdul Razak said the bus driver Che Zaidi Che Hamid, 40, his assistant, and 47 passengers of the bus belonging to Konsortium E-Mutiara Berhad, escaped unhurt. He said police were locating Ahmad Nor's current employment as he was reportedly no longer working at Majidee Camp.The victim's body was sent to Lipis Hospital for post mortem. – Bernama
