C-130 undertakes mercy flight to save baby

KOTA BAHARU: The Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM) Fridayc arried out a mercy flight using a Charlie (C-130) aircraft in an effort to save the life of a baby boy suffering from hole-in-the-heart since birth.Two-month-old Nik Amsyar Nazran Nik Mustapha was flown to Kuala Lumpur to be treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN), beginning Friday.The baby's mother, Salwani Mohamed, 40, from Pasir Putih, said her family appreciated RMAF's kindness in flying her son.
