Security situation improving: CM

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman on Sunday assured that the security situation in Sabah is improving.He said the establishment of the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) and increased allocation under the National 2015 Budget has and will continue to enhance the level of security, especially in the East Coast of Sabah. "Our security forces must continue to be vigilant and the public must also play their role to report any activities deemed suspicious.

"God willing, things will return to normalcy soon. In the meantime, we must not allow a few setbacks to dampen our spirit and efforts to promote Sabah as a travel destination," said Musa, who is also the Chairman of the State Security Committee.
