SEMPORNA: Another bid to smuggle out subsidised fuel to a neighbouring country was foiled after marine police here seized 333 jerry cans containing 825 litres of petrol from a Bajau man at Kg Labuan Haji at about 6.30pm on Monday.Sabah Marine Police Commissioner ACP Mohammad Madun said the seizure was made by a Semporna marine police team led by ASP Safardi Abdul Samad.

He said the team had checked a house and found the jerry cans contain fuel worth RM2,250.

"A 28-year-old man at the house failed to produce any document in relation to the petrol found in his possession.
