LABUAN: The 3rd Labuan Senior Amateur Golf Championship 2014 witnessed a new champion both for men and women categories.Peter Wong Lien Kiong emerged champion with 152 shots, with second runner-up going to Ian Quek (161 shots). Both golfers are from Sabah Golf Country Club (SGCC).Sim Chin Hak of Labuan Golf Club (LGC) clinched third place with 166 shots.

The just-concluded event on Sunday held at Labuan International Golf Club (LIGC) saw Ireen Teng of Tropicana Gold and Country Club emerge the women champion, while Sherly Poh was the second placed winner with 181 shots.For (A) nett event men category, William Cheng of LGC won the first place, Rahmat Dasiman (second place) and Ranjeet Singh, third place with all the winners on 152 shots (after countback).
