LABUAN: The Road Transport Department (RTD) Labuan has collected RM326,720 in compounds between January to November this year for 2,429 traffic offences. Its Enforcement Chief, Illias Abdullah, said the amount was considerably lower compared to other states, owing to the estimated total number of vehicles on the duty-free island of 30,000 units. He said the highest number of compounds and summonses were issued to motorists who did not carry driving licence, for which 1,335 summonses were issued.
