Alor Setar: KENINGAU: The local communities here have been well informed and briefed about the current and security issues by the National Security Council (NSC) through a 'Bersamamu Sabah - Di sini Lahirnya Sebuah Cinta' programme together with District Council here.NSC Sabah assistant director Malai Fazlan Aswad Malai Mustapha said the main purpose of the programme is to disseminate accurate and right information especially to the local youths here."It is imperative the locals particularly the youths get the right information and explanations on security issues that are hotly debated in the State and country. Through the programme, Fazlan said the participants could clearly understand the mission and vision of the government towards achieving a developed nation by 2020.In addition, he said another objective of the programme is to look into the security issues faced by certain areas or district that could be highlighted to the higher authorities.
