Nathanael Kitingan appointed to AMBC board

MELBOURNE: Nathanael Kitingan, who comes from the Kitingan family, one of the prominent families in Sabah politics, has been appointed a Director of the Australia Malaysia Business Council (AMBC) Victoria.AMBC Victoria President Joe Perri said Kitingan's appointment strengthened the diversity of skills, experiences and background of the council's leadership team. "His diverse experience in finance, business and legal matters will significantly support our aspirations to grow the organisation going forward," Perri said. ADVERTISEMENT Kitingan is a senior associate in the dispute resolution and insolvency team at M+K Lawyers here. Born in Australia, he was admitted to the legal profession in 2006. He has also worked in the areas of international aid and development, human rights law, law reform and public policy and continues to work in a volunteer capacity in these areas. He is the incoming vice-president of the Young Lawyers section of the Law Institute.
