State-wide campaign to raise $ for the blindb

SANDAKAN: The Sabah Society For The Blind Sandakan Branch and Taman Cahaya Training Centre For The Blind here launched a state-wide postal appeal to raise funds and sponsorship for the rehabilitation of 20 blind trainees.Being an NGO receiving an annual grant of RM25,000 from the Sabah Council of Social Services, the Society and training centre require an annual operation fund of RM230,000 to maintain the training and rehabilitation programme for the blind in Sabah.Branch Chairman, Denny Cheong, his committee members and staff of Taman Cahaya thanked all the donors for their past support and appealed for the continued generosity of the public.ADVERTISEMENT Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
