Syabu: 3 ex-soldiers held in K'gau

Keningau: Police here arrested three former soldiers and seized 10.90gm of syabu last Monday. District Police Chief DSP Douglas Nyeging Taong said policemen from the Narcortics division raided a PPRT house at 10pm, the syabu was found in a room and the three suspects, age between 40 and 43, were arrested.He said the three suspects were charged at the Magistrate's Court here on Monday under Section 39A (1) (R) of the Dangeous Drugs Act 1952 which carries a sentence of between two and five years and caning of between three and nine strokes.

He said the trio were released on bail of RM2,000 and two sureties each by the court.
