Rhinos face real test against Tampines Rovers in last friendly tonight

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Rhinos will face a real test when they take on S-League's Tampines Rovers in the final pre-season friendly match at the Likas Stadium tonight at 8.15pm.The host, who had drawn their last two matches against Sime Darby FC, will be facing a team that boasted five foreign imports and the rest consist mostly Singapore internationals.Also in the team who had won the S-League title five times are defender Pedrag Pocuca and midfielder Screcko Mitrovic who played for Sabah last season.

Coach Justin Ganai said after the team's final training at the Likas Stadium on Thursday that there will not be much chances in the team's starting line-up."We are taking on a very strong team and I won't change the personnel in our team too much . Shafuan Adli will start and we are giving him the chance to show us what he is capable of to operate from the centre."Azizan Nordin will partner him in the engine room while Rozaimi Abd Rahman and Maxsius Musa will operate from the flanks."I hope they will deliver the telling passes to Eamon Zayed and El Hadji Diouf who will spearhead our attacks up front.

"The back four will have Abdoulaye Faye and Charles Hardy Parsi in the centre supported by Alto Linus and Julamri Muhammad while the goalkeeper will be Irwan Jamil."The veteran coach urged the players to give their full commitment in the match.
