Kuala Lumpur: Datuk Siti Nurhaliza has brushed aside talk that she is Malaysia's third wealthiest woman with RM50mil in assets, Kosmo! reported. The pop diva said she was shocked to hear the news as she "has not reached that level yet".

"The report is untrue. I am not comfortable with it because it can raise security concerns," she said of a website article that listed the five richest women in Malaysia.

Despite such concerns, Siti, who owns a cosmetics line called SimplySiti, said the news had not interrupted her daily life.

"I am not too afraid but I make sure I am accompanied by an employee or family member anywhere I go – either for work or personal matters," she said.

The list placed Puan Sri Lee Kim Hua, widow of Genting Highlands founder Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, at the top spot with an estimated RM21bil in assets.

Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh was in second place with RM875mil.

Miss Malaysia 1969 Pauline Chai (who reportedly has a monthly payment of RM244,568 following her divorce from Tan Sri Khoo Kay Peng) and squash player Datuk Nicol Ann David were placed fourth and fifth respectively.

Meanwhile, Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has directed a short film, Berita Harian reported.

The project, a collaboration between Garang Pictures and Big Eyes Entertainment, is in its third instalment.

It highlights women's issues as its main message and was introduced in 2013.

Garang Pictures executive producer Low Ngai Yuen said: "I was excited to see his (Khairy's) work and the storyline."

Low said the theme was serupa (same) and that it highlighted that "all human beings were the same, regardless of gender".

Popular director Afdlin Shauki is also on the list of directors for the film.
