Tawau: The Working Committee to study the Report by the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Illegal Immigrants in Sabah welcomes every suggestion to help resolve the pertinent issue.Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan, who is also the committee's chairman, said all suggestions would be considered, and adopted if practicable.

"Any suggestion, be it from individuals, non-governmental organisations or political parties, would undeniably be helpful to us," he told reporters at the Chinese New Year open house for the Tawau parliamentary constituency here, Sunday.

He said one of the objectives for the setting up of the working committee was to obtain relevant information and suggestions on finding a solution to the presence of illegal immigrants in Sabah.

"Hopefully, the committee can contribute effectively towards this aim. We also hope the people would cooperate with us in finding the best solution to this dilemma," he said.
