Negeri to buy water from Melaka

Seremban: The Negeri Sembilan government which has reached an agreement with the Melaka state government to purchase treated water from Syarikat Air Melaka Bhd (SAMB) is expected to sign the agreement in Putrajaya on Tuesday.Through the agreement which is expected to be signed after a meeting of Mentries Besar in Putrajaya on Tuesday is aimed at overcoming the current water crisis faced by residents in Tampin. Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said residents in and around Tampin have been receiving treated water from SAMB since last Sunday.ADVERTISEMENT "I will sign the agreement with Melaka chief minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron.
