Application for engineering studies in India now open

Kuala Lumpur: The Indian Government has invited self-financing Malaysian students to pursue studies in engineering courses at Indian academic institutions for the 2015-2016 academic year.According to a statement here Wednesday, the Indian Government will facilitate the admission of these students to a limited number of reserved seats at undergraduate programmes at institutions in India.The institutions are national institutes of technology, Indian institutes of information technology, schools of planning and architecture and other centrally funded technical institutions.

Applicants must have completed the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia, A-level or equivalent as recognised by the Association of Indian Universities and have at least, a score of 1,440 in SAT Subject Test."The applicants must be foreign nationals or Person of India Origin Card (PIO) who have completed the qualifying examination in any country, including India, or a non-resident Indian (NRI) studying abroad," said the statement.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
