Men's futsal trounce Quilmess 5-1

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah men's futsal team defeated Sabah Quilmess 5–1 in the National Futsal Leagues match on Sunday.According to head coach Azman his team led 3-1 in the first half and added another two in the second half and goal scorers were Safar Muhd with two goals ,Muhd Azreen, Rizwan Bakri and Marwan Kadir. He was pleased with the performance of the players. "It was a much better performance from the players as they took their chances and defended well.

"It made up for the disappointment against KL Petaling yesterday (Saturday) where we blew a 4-1 lead and ended with a draw."Meanwhile, the women team continued their winning form with a 4-0 victory over Perak with goals from Masturah Majid, Dadree Rofinus and Usliza Usman.
