College closes: 200 students left in lurch since Sept

Kuching: About 200 students of a private institution of higher learning here have been left in the lurch after the education centre ceased operations last September.Three of the students, along with their parents, Monday met with Sarawak Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah at her office here to lodge a complaint and have requested her to find a solution.Speaking to reporters later, she said she understood the 200 students were not officially informed that the institution had ceased operations.
