Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has no plan to hold a special discussion with its Federal ounterpart on the 20-Points, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.In his written answer to Kiulu Assemblyman, Datuk Joniston Bangkuai on Thursday, he said the State Government has ample room and opportunity to discuss the matter in order for Sabah's needs to be entertained continuously at all levels.

At the same time, most of the matters in the 20-Points had actually been given necessary attention by both the State and Federal Governments including on religion, language, constitution, immigration, public service appointments, education among others.

He said Sabah had been enjoying continuous development in all fields as well as improvement of living standards and physical developments due to the strong relationship and cooperation between the State and Federal governments.

Both also accepted that the 20-Points is an important factor in making any decision, he said.

Joniston had asked if the State Government has plans to hold a special meeting to look into the authenticity of the claim by certain quarters including those from the ruling party that the Federal Government failed to be fair in meeting Sabah's needs as well as dishonouring the 20-Points, which was among the basis for the formation of the Malaysian Federation.
