Kota Kinabalu: The picture that is emerging in social media discourse is that Persana Avril Sollunda – who was allowed RM7,000 bail in the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court on Tuesday pending hearing of her case of stripping in public – comes from a broken family and needs help rather than public judgment or condemnation.A message that has gone viral in Whatsapp although unverified stated that Persana's parents were divorced, her mother had gone missing and her father was in jail.It was also revealed in the message that she had been referred to Hospital Mesra Bukit Padang three times. Soon after her bail was posted on Tuesday, Persana was taken by relatives to the Sungai Buloh hospital for psychiatric evaluation. ADVERTISEMENT The message also expressed gratitude to the Momogun KDCA Klang Valley group and Datuk Richard Bainon for assisting in posting her bail. According to the message, Persana needed emotional support from members of her family who still care for her. Her younger brother came to post the bail that saw her being released from Kajang Prison where she had been staying ever since she was arrested for going topless in Petaling Street on April 28.Shortly after her release, Persana gave incoherent answers when asked how she had been doing for the past one week by reporters.
