Maxryona Masdi, seven, a pupil at SK Tempasuk 2, died in the emergency ward of Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a life-threatening injury to her head at 7pm.
Kota Belud district police chief Supt Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said Maxryona was a sister of Max Christy Masdi, 10, who died in the crash.
“We also found the two siblings were nieces of a 54-year-old suspected drunk driver who hit three victims Monday morning,” Zaidi told Daily Express.
Police also advised social media users to stop distributing the victims’ pictures to respect the distressed families.
