SMK Bingkor’s success formula

KENINGAU: SMK Bingkor recorded 96.87 percent passes in the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) Examination result last year, with two students – Richo Terryson Radius @ Dius and Ellyfriscka Justine – being the best in Humanity stream with 4.00 CGPA.
Form Six Senior Assistant, Jefri Mohamad Yusof said, 124 out of 128 candidates passed with GPS: 2.42.

The school achieved 100 per cent passes in 2016 and in 2017.
“This success is due to team work and the collaboration by the teachers including the School’s Parents and Teachers Association (PTA),” he said.
Jefri said the success is also owed to an ongoing programme called “Menggapai Bintang”. It includes several activities that lead to the enhancement of academic and student-personality. This 2018 STPM Cohort has been implementing the Menggapai Bintang sixth series since the STPM system was introduced in 2012.
Among the activities are strengthening of knowledge strategy in the PdPc class and going through the examinations besides enhancing the discipline, motivation and collaboration of mentee mentors.

Jefri said, teachers who are dedicated and outstanding in carrying out their responsibilities both in the classroom and outside of the classroom. PTEM of this school is very lucky to have among outstanding students in personality and this factor facilitates the formation of outstanding student characteristics.
