House to be built for former State player

Kota Kinabalu: A house will be built for former State footballer Paulus Jimit and his family in his home town, Tambunan within 60 days, said Sabah Football Association (Safa) acting president Datuk Peter Anthony on Friday.He made the announcement after paying Paulus, who has been in a wheelchair since suffering a stroke in 2015, a visit at his house with a group of current and former State players.

The player who was known for his thunderous shots during his heydays in the late 70’s and early 80’s is currently staying with his family at Tambunan Public Works Department (PWD) quarters.
