TAWAU: An 18-year-old local boat skipper was arrested with his five Indonesian passengers, aged between seven and 38, in Tawau waters at about 1.30pm on Saturday.
District Maritime Zone Operation Deputy Director, Maritime Commander Mohd Yusri Hussin, said a patrol craft stopped the passenger boat for inspection.

“The boat is believed to be heading to Tawau from Sungai Haji Kuning, Pulau Sebatik,” he said Sunday.
He said the five paperless Indonesians comprised an adult man, a teenage boy, two teenage girls and a boy.
