Perak MB not giving up post

IPOH: Despite facing various criticisms and pressures, Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu (pic) will not give up his post .
The Chenderiang state assemblyman, affectionately known as Peja said, he would continue to carry out the responsibilities entrusted to him to the best of his ability.

“It is my duty to carry out the trust. When I took my oath of office it was from my heart.” I am not throwing in the towel.
“If I am toppled tomorrow I will be alright. I will still be the same Peja serving the people in my own way. I will still be Chenderiang assemblyman and Tambun Member of Parliament,” he said.
Ahmad Faizal said this to reporters after a town hall session on Maqasid Syariah-Based Governance at the Perak Darul Ridzuan Building here today. Also present was Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Fuziah Salleh.
In addition, Ahmad Faizal said his relationship with 10 other state executive councilors (exco) had remained cordial and despite rumours of conflict, they were like one big happy family.

The Perak Menteri Besar also admitted that some exco members had ignored his authority, bypassing him before making a statement which gave the impression that there was no teamwork among them.
As an easy-going and positive person, Ahmad Faizal however said that the situation could be improved as no human is perfect.
