Armwrestlers return with 2 golds
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah team returned with two golds, two silvers and one bronze at the recent 4th Premier 101 International Charity Armwrestling 2019 competition which was held in Kuching last weekend.

The gold medals were won by Joffey Jolly in the senior men 70kg right hand category and Calveen Petrus in the senior men +105kg right hand category.

The silvers came from Jolly Johnson (senior men 95kg right hand) and Raymond Wong (senior men 70kg right) while the bronze was delivered by Michael Ford (senior men +105kg right).

Jolly Johnson who is the team captain and also deputy president of Sabah Armwrestling Association was happy with the results achieved by the team.

“As team manager I am very pleased with the results. It was a good outing as we also had eight finished in the top eight positions,” he said.

Those in the top eight are Victor Larry (4th in 70kg); Nesurey Petrus (5th in 65kg women); Joffey Jolly (6th – 78kg left); Dominic Johnny (4th – 78kg); Jevander Lonni (7th – 86kg); Adam Hazel (8th – 86kg) and Bobby John (8th – 95kg).
