Selection camp this Saturday

KOTA KINABALU: The Astro Kem Badminton Selection Camp will be happening at Likas Sports Complex this Saturday. In a statement Tuesday, Astro said the Selection Camp is open to boys and girls aged 10 to 12 who are keen to pursue the badminton game, at no charge.
Selected players will then be in the running to attend the KL Intensive Camp in August where they will train under some of Malaysia’s best badminton players such as Wong Choong Hann, Lee Wan Wah and Chan Chong Ming.

For the younger children, aged between seven to nine, Astro Kasih will also be conducting a free coaching clinic where they can learn techniques as well as improve their skills and stamina building tips.
This is organised with the hope these young children will return to try out at the Selection Camp in which they will already have the advantage of learning from the Coaching Clinic.
