46 addicts and pushers held
KOTA KINABALU: Police rounded up 46 addicts and pushers  and seized several types of drugs including syabu worth RM4,050 in an anti-drug operation carried out at several locations, here from April 13 to 19.

 Acting City Police Chief Supt George Abd Rakman said the three of the suspects were detained under supply and distribution category while 11 for having drugs and 32 people were found positive of drugs.

He said 36 locals and 10 foreigners, aged between 13 and 57-years-old were picked up at several locations such as Likas, Menggatal and around Kota Kinabalu city.

George said police were also able to seize 50.31grammes of marijuana from a Filipino man and other drugs from different individuals such as 12.12grammes of ecstasy and 7.21grammes of syabu. The cases are being investigated under various sections of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952, he added.
