The incident allegedly unfolded when the nephew who had just arrived from Kota Kinabalu, confronted his wife for not welcoming him home at about 6.23pm.
His uncle who was outside the house at that time, told his nephew to be a little considerate to his (nephew) wife who is pregnant.
The man allegedly suddenly turned aggressive and punched his nephew several times in the face and even shoved his nephew’s wife as she tried to stop the fight.
The man then went into a room and grabbed hold of the bakakuk which he then used to threaten his nephew with.
