Raise transmission cable in Putatan, utility firm told

A concerned member of the public is urging the relevant utility firm to raise the level of their overhead transmission cable Off Jalan Putatan Ramayah in Putatan, to avoid being inadvertently struck by a passing trailer.He feared the low-lying part of the cable will sustain damage and affect the service line in that part of the district should an unsuspecting lorry driver proceed through that road.

“We can never tell that it won’t happen especially at night where the area is dark because there is no streetlight nearby,” said RAMLAN, who frequents the stretch.
