Stay united and avoid split, PKR Pensiangan reminded
KENINGAU: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Pensiangan branch reminded its members to stay united and avoid splits that can form groups within the party.

The Branch Party Chairmam, Datuk Dr Sangkar Rasam said the party would only be strong if there was a strong unity among its leaders and members.

“We have to work teamwork and avoid prejudice and dropping members and leaders in the party,” he said in his speech at the presentation of the appointment letters of the party leaders to the Keningau Parliamentary branch held at Perkasa hotel Monday.

A total of 100 members of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Branch committee members, Women and Youth committee members for Keningau  parliamentary branch have received the letter of appointment presented by the Sangkar.

Sangkar said these members need to work together in carrying out their planned tasks to achieve the goals of the party’s struggle over a predetermined time frame so that the party can move forward.

He said competition between party leaders and members is also needed but “let’s be healthy and correct”.

At the same time, he also called on members to control emotion and maintain courtesy in social media.

“In politics it is undeniable that many things are annoying, but emotions need to be protected especially in commenting on news and statements by certain parties,” he said.

He will always be open to accepting suggestions and criticisms from party members if it can build on the good of the party and members.

Sangkar said all proposals will be evaluated and if good and feasible to carry out and respond to any criticism for the good of all.
