LABUAN: Labuan police nabbed 12 people during an integrated operation at Jalan Jati here early Tuesday..Labuan police chief Supt Muhamad Farid Ahmad said of the number, 11 were undocumented while the other was tested positive for Methamphetamine.
Farid said a total of 74 individuals were inspected during the three-hour raid at the Pekan Jati shophouses here.

Those without valid documents were all detained under Section 6 (1) (c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.

“This operation is conducted to curb and deal with crime by identifying and rounding up wanted criminals, militant members, drug peddlers and addicts as well as immigrants who do not possess valid documents here,” Farid said in a statement.
