All-round development of children

TAWAU: State Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister-cum-Sri Tanjong Assemblyman Datuk Jimmy Wong said the national education is moving towards quality education while focusing on all-round development of children and no longer measuring student performance through examinations.
He was speaking while officiating at the “Career Enlightenment Education Exhibition” held in conjunction with the School Transformation 2025 (TS25) programme at SJKC Sin Hwa.

He said the department of education has implemented this school transformation plan to strengthen school’s leadership, to enhance the quality of teaching as well as to strengthen the potential of teachers and students. It was also to strengthen coordination between parents and the communities.
The school board of directors and the school principal, Chu Vun Hui, strongly supported the implementation of TS25 where all classrooms will be equipped with digital facilities.
