Kota Kinabalu: The Evo Agro Solutions and Evoworld are organising the Sabah Plogging Run 2019 on Sept 29 at Perdana Park, Tanjung Aru. Participants are required to collect garbage along the road while running.Participants are also encouraged to bring along their family or friends in joining this meaningful event at this weekend. In addition, children and adolescents can learn how to preserve and protect environment from young as a result of reducing the use of plastics and replacing them with recyclable and biodegradable products.

Furthermore, the organisers hope to break the Malaysia Book of Records with 5000 people participating.
The event received strong support from various government agencies. Organiser Chang Vui Yung and his team met Minister of Youth and Sports of Sabah, Phoong Jin Zhe to brief him on the event.
Chang said support from the Minister is a major boost for this event. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves in order to reduce unnecessary garbage. Also, the organisers will also provide disposable gloves to the participants.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children. The registration fees are RM30 and RM50, respectively. A headband and eco-friendly tableware will be given for the RM30 package, and a headband, a theme T-shirt and an environmentally-friendly tableware will be given for RM50 package.
