Five Filipinos jailed in Labuan

LABUAN: The Sessions Court Friday sentenced five Filipinos to three months’ jail and ordered them to be given one stroke of the cane each for having entered Labuan illegally.

Judge Leona Dominic Mojiliu passed the sentence on Naybong Waion, 32, Ibrahim Masar, 24, Remal Hairal, 28, Haliman Talib, 23, and Aimin Ameh, 29, after they pleaded guilty.
