KOTA KINABALU: Property investors in the city now have more options especially with the upcoming launch of Hap Seng Properties Development Sdn Bhd Kingfisher Inanam condominiums on Aug 24 and Aug 25.

Kingfisher Inanam (KFI) brings quality and affordability to a 9.3 acre land. Standing out from the rest, this development distinguishes itself from the rest architecturally and features an 85,000 sq ft Skypark on level five, which is open to residents to enjoy the landscape of greenery and facilities.

This resort-like development comprise of 739 condominium units over three towers tucked in Inanam.

With units ranging from 865 sq ft to 1,160 sq ft, featuring large living spaces and spectacular views of the landscape, this development puts quality at the forefront.

A stone’s throw away from Inanam town, KFI tucks itself into a niche that is feels like it is miles away from the city.

Its location is only 20 to 30 minutes away from Kota Kinabalu city centre and Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Inanam itself is an established township with roots in manufacturing and industry.

According to Hap Seng Land Deputy General Manager Caroline Yong Yah Fui, Hap Seng wanted to showcase what is called a top condo in Kota Kinabalu with top quality finish, fittings and workmanship.

“The catalyst for the project is its close proximity linkage to the Pan Borneo Highway where it is located only 400m away from the KFI development.

“Also, the promotion package is something not to be missed. Things have been positive this year in that the new government is putting out many initiatives such as the (first time) home ownership campaign and myHome 2.0 for example which are targeted at first time home buyers and also second time home buyers to own a home.

“The banks also are offering many initiatives. Over the last 10 years, bank’s interest rates have gone down as low as 4.15 per cent.

“So this is actually a lot of signals telling you that this is actually the right time to buy (a property). It is time to invest especially with a trusted developer who has a proven track record.

“This is the time you will see a new condo (concept) in terms of lifestyle, workmanship expectations and quality of product as compared with previous condominium developments.

“This is a condo development that can compete with condos at Klang Valley.”

On the progress of the development, she said they were targeting to obtain the Occupational Certificate for block A by October.

“As for Block B and C, the completion is estimated by June 2020 ”

“So I am urging all potential first home owners to seize this opportunity on what we are offering. Opportunity like this do not come very often. We are trying to incorporate initiatives from the government together with ours to allow first time buyers to own a unit and become its proud owner.”

She added that buyers also have the opportunity to own a Mercedes Benz CLA 200 through a lucky draw on Aug 24.

Kingfisher Inanam is comprised of 739 units and comes in three variations and sizes.

The units are Type A (865sqft), Type A1: (905sqft) and Type B: (1,160sqft)  where Type A- Ground to 21st Floor, Type A1- 22nd Floor to 27th Floor and Type B Ground to 27th Floor.

The units with prices ranging from RM398,000 - RM680,000 and are divided into blocks A, B and C.

The KFI development  feature the biggest residential podium car park in Sabah  i.e. 1400+carpark bays, three tiers security and Seismic Design (earthquake resistance) and two acres of sky recreation.

The leisure spaces consist of swimming pool, wading pool, children playground, gymnasium, jogging track, and basketball court

Buyer Joseph Chong Tet Yu shared that he and his father are amazed with the concept and design of the fifth floor recreational park.

“Especially the basketball court and not to mention the infinity pool! (This) will be a perfect retirement home for my father,“

KFI buyer Lisa Tan said she likes Kingfisher Inanam because it is a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay for her family.

“It is also surrounded by green environment and fresh air.”

Another satisfied customer, Kock Meng Tat, said that he liked Kingfisher Inanam because it is Kingfisher series and is a well-known developed household project by Hap Seng.

“Another factor would be because of the serene environment there. We can buy any tangible assets and products. But we cannot buy mother-nature. Waking up in the morning and surrounded by the graceful green is everyone’s dreams,” he said.
