55 attend 22nd JCI Academy in Sandakan

SANDAKAN: Some 55 participants from all over Malaysia including International participants from Thailand gathered at the 22nd JCI Malaysia Academy held at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (Sandakan Campus).JCI National President Andy Lau said the challenges for this programme will be tough, but it is only through overcoming challenges that we can grow and achieve breakthrough.

“I am confident under the guidance of the many experienced trainers and facilitators we will be able to graduate from this programme,” he said.
Andy asked participants to commit themselves to all the modules that have been crafted for this Academy.
“By committing yourself fully you can learn to overcome the challenges ahead.
“Moreover be ready to help your team and each other whenever assistance is needed. During your journey in life, you will one day be in the position to help and another day you may be the one to receive help.

“Apart from that, be patient. As you work with individuals from diverse backgrounds you will need to be able to patiently deal with different challenges and emotions.
“If you are able to manage your emotion during time of hardship, you will be ever ready to face the hardships that you will face in your JCI journey and in life,” he said.
